I had the opportunity to meet Annah Whitfield, designer and owner of the quaint little store StoRin, for the first time this week. Not only is she a talented content creator, but she’s one of the sweetest and friendliest people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting.

It was also my first time visiting her store and I was delighted to see all the beautiful designs. One dress in particular that caught my eye was the fabulous red dress named “Codie” that I completely fell in love with. When I realized it was named after Ms. Codebastard Redgrave herself, I knew exactly what jewelry to wear with it; the Codie Bijoux Rouge Set by Hibiscus Flossberg of Puarangi Designs .

Another thing I didn’t know about Annah is that she also makes poses (I know, I think I live under a rock, :P). I especially loved her umbrella poses that came with this adorable little umbrella. The umbrella also comes with 9 different and very beautiful textures that you can choose from.

Along with her single poses, she also has a separate room full of many couples poses. This one is called the “Best Friends” pose. I’d like to thank Zaara Kohime for taking her time out to pose with me for this special pose. <3

I trust y’all are full of yummy chocolates…I know I am! I’m sharing my Easter outfit, it’s purplish…which of course is the best color on the face of this earth! <3

Recently Kyoot released these fabulous tunic dresses and I was gifted one in my favorite color. I thought it went really well with the {Zaara} Ishaya slacks in aubergine. Then of course the versatile scarf by Maitreya that is scripted with so many options; just click it and choose how you want the scarf to fall.

Diesel Works is slowly becoming one of my fav stores for poses. Yesterday these five eggs with five poses each in them were dropped into the members group. It doesn’t take up one of your twenty-five slots so tp to the store and join to get them for free. And they are also available at the store for L$1 for non-members.

I admit these days I have been a bit prim-nail-happy. One of my fav stores for prim nails is of course [Love Soul]. I also love their selection in “strawberry themed” items. Recently Love Soul has teamed up with R2 Fashion and have opened up a collaborative products store. For their grand opening gift they have 3 beautiful items for free – pretty purple pumps, fabulous purple prim nails and the perfect pose to show them off. I’m not sure how long these gifts are available for so I suggest you run down there now and pick them up! I ended up picking up these white prim nails because they came with this gorgeous ring, however the only thing I don’t like about it is the nails are no-mod and it’s just not good for my OCD about having my nails perfectly placed. Other than that, I <3 them.

Ex-pose is a new pose store that specializes in couples’ poses. A collaboration between Milli Santos and Chaddi Masala, what I love about their poses is that majority of them are sweet and romantic, something rare to find.

I’ve been wanting to blog Cheyn Lane’s store, Step Up Poses, for a while and finally got the chance to take some pics with his poses. The poses I’ve picked up from his store were just a few cute ones that I liked, but there are many more there which are more intimate and also more friendly.

Too bad sl doesn’t have that option available for us to do it manually! :P

Back

Finally the last pose is called back and is just as sweet. And again would also work better if you can get the eyes closed, however for this pose I was basing this on an old indian love story. I discovered Long Awkward Pose because of my dear friend Azar Kazan. I still remember it clearly. It was a cold day in January; yes even in the south :P. When I logged on, barely a second had gone by when Azar messaged me and said, “Hey Berry, quick take the tp and come here. This place is magical!” I quickly took the tp, ready to see a beautiful enchanting sim with fairies and pixie dust. Much to my surprise, I rezzed in a pose store! So then she said, “DUDE! They got awesome poses here for L$25!” I was like, “ NO WAY!” And she was like “WAY!” And that’s when my love affair with Dove Swanson….er I mean Long Awkward Pose started. :)

Since that fateful day in January I’ve been a LAP addict, using primarily LAP poses for most – if not all – of my photography. Here are a few glimpses of how I’ve used Dove’s wonderful poses!

The greatest thing about Dove Swanson is that not only is she keeping her prices reasonable, but also that she has poses for more than just fashionistas. She has poses for everyone: couples, groups, friends, funny poses (who doesn’t need a stinky butt pose?) Also right when you enter her store she has oodles of free poses in gift boxes by the door! She has many poses for your group of friends, lots of poses for couples, over 25 sets full of poses for all us girls and even 8 sets full of poses for men. Of course all of the poses are sold individually as well as in the sets. I guarantee you will not leave the place without picking up at least a few poses for yourself. They are great fun!

While you are there don’t forget to click on her subscribe-o-matic thingamajig so you can get all her freebie poses that she sends to all her members cuz she’s just awesome like that. She also does many treasure hunts and such of which you will be notified if you join her group.

These days she has also started a flickr group and has a weekly contest. YAY!
