Linden Lab’s Project Bento was first announced on December 16th, 2015. Since then, they have had weekly meetings inviting all content creators to come and help them with this new Project. If you are a content creator in Second Life, I feel that you should try your best to make it to these meetings. You have a chance to add your voice and input before this project goes public and you are missing out if you don’t take that opportunity! The Lindens have said that they are planning to move this project to Agni in the second quarter of 2016, so it could happen any day now!
Info about Project Bento:
For those that are not familiar with Project Bento, Linden Lab has added dozens of new bones to the Second Life Avatar Skeleton, which support both rigging and animation, in order to give us more options to personalize our avatars.
Nalates Urriah uploaded a video of the meeting from the 21st on YouTube and she also has a Bento tag on her blog so you can follow all of her posts regarding the progress on Project Bento since she attends all the meetings.
Inara Pey has also been covering Project Bento news and meetings on her very informative blog, you can follow her Project Bento tag for all the details. She also summarizes what’s going on so far with Bento and adds soundbites from the meetings so makes it very easy to understand.
The Project Bento Feedback Thread on the Second Life forums is also another great place to get up to speed on what’s going on with Bento as well as join the conversation.
I hope this post encourages you to attend the meetings and Lab chat and have your voice heard, especially if you create content in Second Life! Please make sure to share this post and encourage other content creators to attend these meetings as well. Don’t miss your chance to provide your input!

Zaara has released a new tunic at Collabor88 this month and it comes in both opaque and see-through versions. I’m wearing the see-through version and applier lingerie underneath it. If you do that, because of alpha issues, you may not see the applier linger at first but if you right-click on the tunic, it then […] Continue reading →
Mr. Draxtor Despres asks me to help him out from time to time with certain projects he has going on. Recently he messaged me to help him with locations so he can show a celebrity around Second Life. That celebrity was none other than Dr. Phil himself. His avatar even looks like him, don’t you […] Continue reading →
To celebrate Second Life’s 12th birthday Linden Lab has introduced a video share project called “What Second Life Means to Me” in which they have asked some Second Life residents, as well as some Lindens themselves, what Second Life means to them. After I did my Flat Rodvik meme last year, I knew as soon as I heard that Linden Lab has a new CEO that I was eventually going to do a meme about him. I did make a Flat Ebbe this time as well, but I didn’t take him around the grid on a date. […] Continue reading →
Friday Find: A Petrovsky Flux There has been a lot of buzz about this sim recently all over twitter and some travel blogs that I felt compelled to go see it myself. I first heard about it through Ziki Questi when she blogged about how it may eventually disappear. So I made a note to […] Continue reading →

This post is going to be a totally indulgent circlejerk, I give you all prior warning. Plus I’ll probably get caned by Berry for using that term on her blog. I’m really looking forward to seeing where we get linked, and how perverted the search terms will be that come up in the site stats. […] Continue reading →
I was really surprised and happy when Linden Lab approached me a few days ago and asked me to do a fall fashion picture for the SecondLife homepage again. I thought and assumed they had stopped that program but I’m happy to see they are getting back into it. I hope in the future they […] Continue reading →

(raw shot from sl) I may have eaten a bit too much sugar and having way too much fun with the linden bear the past couple of days. That’s why this has ended up being the geekiest post ever. But it’s all good, I’m proud of my geekyness. SL10B is just around the corner, the […] Continue reading →
Earlier today I met Rodvik Linden, also known as Rod Humble in the real world! Draxtor Despres asked me to take a picture of Mr. Linden for an upcoming Drax Files episode.
