This time I’ll be talking about two of my favorite stores.

I’ve been wanting to blog one of the stores for a long time, but didn’t get a change to get around to it till now. I think one thing everyone should do, if they haven’t already, is join Alienbear Gupte’s group for her Alienbear Jewelry Design Store. I have so many pieces of absolutely beautiful and stunning jewelry, all free, just for being a part of her group. She has a whole member’s section where everything is either free or really inexpensive, just for her members. She really knows how to take care of her members. I have A LOT of jewelry from her store, but I’m only showing the last group gifts that she had. I believe these were for St. Patrick’s Day. But she is always giving something out to her group, so this is a group that you should happily be willing to use up one of your 25 slots for.

One of my most recent favorites, which I absolutely love and refuse to remove from my head, is the beautiful and gorgeous hair from Aden Breyer. OMG WTF can hair get any more gorgeous??? I think not, seriously! Long or short, Aden’s hair makes me look totally smoking hot, and these are just three of her styles. There are soooooo many more to choose from. One thing I absolutely LOVE about her hair is how it looks great from every angle!

I discovered Long Awkward Pose because of my dear friend Azar Kazan. I still remember it clearly. It was a cold day in January; yes even in the south :P. When I logged on, barely a second had gone by when Azar messaged me and said, “Hey Berry, quick take the tp and come here. This place is magical!” I quickly took the tp, ready to see a beautiful enchanting sim with fairies and pixie dust. Much to my surprise, I rezzed in a pose store! So then she said, “DUDE! They got awesome poses here for L$25!” I was like, “ NO WAY!” And she was like “WAY!” And that’s when my love affair with Dove Swanson….er I mean Long Awkward Pose started. :)

Since that fateful day in January I’ve been a LAP addict, using primarily LAP poses for most – if not all – of my photography. Here are a few glimpses of how I’ve used Dove’s wonderful poses!

The greatest thing about Dove Swanson is that not only is she keeping her prices reasonable, but also that she has poses for more than just fashionistas. She has poses for everyone: couples, groups, friends, funny poses (who doesn’t need a stinky butt pose?) Also right when you enter her store she has oodles of free poses in gift boxes by the door! She has many poses for your group of friends, lots of poses for couples, over 25 sets full of poses for all us girls and even 8 sets full of poses for men. Of course all of the poses are sold individually as well as in the sets. I guarantee you will not leave the place without picking up at least a few poses for yourself. They are great fun!

While you are there don’t forget to click on her subscribe-o-matic thingamajig so you can get all her freebie poses that she sends to all her members cuz she’s just awesome like that. She also does many treasure hunts and such of which you will be notified if you join her group.

These days she has also started a flickr group and has a weekly contest. YAY! If you have a flickr account, quickly go and join her group: http://www.flickr.com/groups/lapsl and start spamming it with all the amazing pics you’ve taken with her poses. You just might be picked for “rad pic of the week” (according to Dove of course :P)

I LOVE the new release candidate! I TOTALLY LOVE IT!!! Did I tell you I love it? No really, I love it!!!

All the problems I had with the previous one which included not being able to move my graphics up to ultra without crashing, not being able to take a pic that was larger than the screen size, and not being able to do much at all because I crashed like every 5 mins have been all fixed, YAY!!!!

With this new release candidate, it has been smooth sailing! I love it! If it was human I would totally marry it! WOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

/me is so happy, she stuffs chocolate chip cookies in her mouth!

Lets have a party!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m so excited about today’s favorite things because I am absolutely in LOVE with them! First lets start out with my favorite hair these days. I am lovin the short hairstyles I have from ETD. It seems that I tend to grab those from my inventory more than any other styles. I also love the way they frame my face and I’m amazed at how they are so versatile and go with so many different kind of looks. These are just a sneak peek at some of the styles that I own and I wear quite often.

The first one is my all time favorite, Naomi. I love the way it is short in the back and a little bit layered in the front. Just frames my face really well and in the faded espresso it just looks FAB on me! Then we have the amazing flapper and then the new one, Davina II, which is by far one of the best hairstyles I’ve seen. Finally I love the short bob in the Aveda line, it is too cute and perfect.

My next favorite thing these days is the Princess lehenga by Zaara Kohime of Zaara Indian Couture at Taste of India. I am IN LOVE with this dress. It is completely amazing. First it is an absolutely beautiful shade of pink and the amount of work and detail that went into this is just phenomenal. When I wear this dress, I really do feel like royalty and of course I had to top it all off with a crown by the ever amazing Alienbear Gupte of Alienbear Jewelry Design.

Zaara Kohime has recently expanded her store and has added 21 dresses in amazing beautiful colors. Don’t forget to check out her beautiful designs and then head over to ETD to pick up some hairstyles to wear with them!

Today was the first time I stumbled upon Mikayla Kohl’s store, the Crush Factory. I knew as soon as I entered that I was gonna be spending a lot of time (and most probably lindens) here.

It’s quite spacious and so unique. Best thing about her though is that she makes pretty much everything; from chic jewelry, all kinds of denim, funky hair, totally funny tees and much more. She even has some cool clothes for all you men out there. All her tees are actually on sale (50% off) for a limited time, so definitely run and check it out because some of them are too funny!

Here’s a few things I picked up, but I’m planning another shopping trip soon. :)
