I LOVE the new release candidate! I TOTALLY LOVE IT!!! Did I tell you I love it? No really, I love it!!!

All the problems I had with the previous one which included not being able to move my graphics up to ultra without crashing, not being able to take a pic that was larger than the screen size, and not being able to do much at all because I crashed like every 5 mins have been all fixed, YAY!!!!

With this new release candidate, it has been smooth sailing! I love it! If it was human I would totally marry it! WOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

/me is so happy, she stuffs chocolate chip cookies in her mouth!

Recently I did a picture for a client and she told me the outfit she was wearing was by Digit Darkes. So we started talking about how awesome Digit Darkes is and how we both love her stuff. Anyhow, when I put the pic on my flickr I thought I would submit it to the Digit Darkes flickr group just for fun because they have random contests going on and today I found out that I actually won for that same pic. YAY!

It’s on the Digit Darkes blog now. I really didn’t expect to win, since I just randomly join contests all the time.

I have submitted two pics to that group, this is the other one. I’m wearing one of my favorite outfits by Digit in this photo!

Since I am getting WAY too many IMs about this, I just thought I’d do a quick blog about it to let everyone else know in case y’all were wondering.

The skin that I am wearing in the ETD poster is actually a skin by Minnu Palen that was given out free a couple of months back. As far as I know, it is not available for sale anywhere. Yes I know it’s a gorgeous skin and makes my lips look absolutely kissable, however, if you go to Minnu Model Skins, you will find many beautiful skins quite similar to this one. Or perhaps one day Minnu will release this skin and have it up for sale in the future, since so many people are showing interest in it.

Anyhow, I’m sorry I wasn’t able to help you get the skin but just wanted to clear all that up. Now stop capping my IMs people! teehee, joking :P (says Berry after typing the same thing in over 50 IMs) :P

The Springtime in NY fashion show was organized by Lipstick Publishing and took place on March 7th, 2008 at 1pm in Central Park, NYC. The models were provided by Nefritti Models, the agency that I work with.

I thought I’d share some of the outfits I wore in the show today. It’s nice to find out about new designers.

The first outfit I wore was Creme Spring Flower and it is part of the Spring Collection for Yowatashi Boshi Designs by Aqualyne Kohime. The top is done of silk and the skirt flows like falling petals around the knee area of the same silk. It also comes with matching shoes, purse and hat.

Another outfit was an Embroidered Skirt and Wrap Around Top by Kaddan Yue of OMG! Inc. This outfit is inspired by the ancient Greek and Roman style.

Finally the last outfit is called Loooove!dress night by Moanasyrene Boucher of MB-Designs! The dress has a corset made out of lace and the skirt is made of feathers. I am also modeling the Loooove!skin also by Moanasyrene Boucher of MB-Designs! The skin is light, glossy and has black lace on the side of the face.

It was a lot of fun, even though SL was really hating me today! Once, in the middle of walking down the runway I crashed and then when I came back my AO would not attach so I actually walked down like a newbie, but hey it was hilarious!

Okay I will admit it, I’m a lucky chair girl! Well, I used to be anyhow. I can’t remember the last time I sat in one, mainly because I don’t get a chance to tp to places that might actually have lucky chairs anymore. But back in my newbie days I was TOTALLY a lucky chair girl! We actually had a whole group of us lucky chair girls, we used to tp each other to all the different places for great stuff, it was so much fun. And I’m actually still in contact with one or two of them. My first friends on SL awwwww. <3

Anyhow, I digress. What I was going to tell you about was one of the first places that I actually got very decent looking clothing and it was all because of their lucky chairs. I admit I haven’t been to the “Radical Wook” for months and months so I have no idea if they even still have lucky chairs, but back then they did and the prizes for those chairs were very high quality.

Two of my favorites are the red babydoll lingerie outfit and that beautiful red dress that I used to wear EVERYWHERE when I was a newbie. Actually that picture in the red dress was taken back in June so I was still in my newbie days (even the shape is very different from what I look like now) but I still love that dress.

Hmmmmmmmmmm, I can’t remember the last time I wore it. I need to bust that out again just to walk down memory lane. Lots of fun times in that dress! :D
