I SO did not abandon my blog. I know it’s been almost a month since I posted something here, but hey in post one I told you I was a procrastinator so neener :P
Anyhooooo, (ew, did I just say that?) I’ve been kinda busy in rl so not even on sl as much as I would like to. I did however recently get the most awesomest and amazingest skin EVA!!! PXL skins are the besterest and damn do I look HOT! (well, at least lukewarm).
Recently I did kind of a “boudoir” series just to show off my skin some more since I like it so much I’ve been naked most of the time now! :P

I love the shading on the back of this skin, it’s absolute perfection! This is by far one of my favorite skins now. I can’t seem to take it off, it’s just that beautiful.
I’m working on a few projects that I will blog about soon so you see this blog is still alive!
I discovered Long Awkward Pose because of my dear friend Azar Kazan. I still remember it clearly. It was a cold day in January; yes even in the south :P. When I logged on, barely a second had gone by when Azar messaged me and said, “Hey Berry, quick take the tp and come here. This place is magical!” I quickly took the tp, ready to see a beautiful enchanting sim with fairies and pixie dust. Much to my surprise, I rezzed in a pose store! So then she said, “DUDE! They got awesome poses here for L$25!” I was like, “ NO WAY!” And she was like “WAY!” And that’s when my love affair with Dove Swanson….er I mean Long Awkward Pose started. :)
Since that fateful day in January I’ve been a LAP addict, using primarily LAP poses for most – if not all – of my photography. Here are a few glimpses of how I’ve used Dove’s wonderful poses!
The greatest thing about Dove Swanson is that not only is she keeping her prices reasonable, but also that she has poses for more than just fashionistas. She has poses for everyone: couples, groups, friends, funny poses (who doesn’t need a stinky butt pose?) Also right when you enter her store she has oodles of free poses in gift boxes by the door! She has many poses for your group of friends, lots of poses for couples, over 25 sets full of poses for all us girls and even 8 sets full of poses for men. Of course all of the poses are sold individually as well as in the sets. I guarantee you will not leave the place without picking up at least a few poses for yourself. They are great fun!
While you are there don’t forget to click on her subscribe-o-matic thingamajig so you can get all her freebie poses that she sends to all her members cuz she’s just awesome like that. She also does many treasure hunts and such of which you will be notified if you join her group.
These days she has also started a flickr group and has a weekly contest. YAY! If you have a flickr account, quickly go and join her group: http://www.flickr.com/groups/lapsl and start spamming it with all the amazing pics you’ve taken with her poses. You just might be picked for “rad pic of the week” (according to Dove of course :P)

Recently I did a picture for a client and she told me the outfit she was wearing was by Digit Darkes. So we started talking about how awesome Digit Darkes is and how we both love her stuff. Anyhow, when I put the pic on my flickr I thought I would submit it to the Digit Darkes flickr group just for fun because they have random contests going on and today I found out that I actually won for that same pic. YAY!
It’s on the Digit Darkes blog now. I really didn’t expect to win, since I just randomly join contests all the time.
I have submitted two pics to that group, this is the other one. I’m wearing one of my favorite outfits by Digit in this photo!

OMG two blog posts in a day, now that’s gotta be some record!
So anyways, I was just walking around aimlessly causing mischief when I ran into an old friend who I hadn’t seen for the longest time, the King of Samarkand (a beautiful SIM which you must visit NOW, right after you finish reading this blog :P) Creyes Beresford.
He’s such a sweetheart he offered to show me around Samarkand, since I hadn’t been there for a while, and see all the updates he’s done. It really is such a beautiful SIM, a must visit if you haven’t been. Just please remember to read the notecard when you land! :P
We walked around everywhere chatting and laughing. Then he took me on an awesome magic carpet ride! He showed me all the changes he’s made to the city; I especially love the addition of the little Madrasa, truly adorable! They have tournaments there every Friday if I’m not mistaken and also events every Saturday night. Really a very nice bunch of folks, it was always a pleasure to visit them; I need to do that more often!
And oh yes, I even got to dance with the King. *sigh* It was all so magical and wonderful being in his arms and feeling like a Queen, even if it only lasted for a few minutes! :P
But really a worthwhile visit, so make sure you do. And yes, be jealous because I danced with the King! Woohooo :P
