The name of this beautiful gown is Lear-Goneril. Although Goneril was known as a brutal, cruel and bloodthirsty tyrant, I certainly do not feel anything remotely close to that in this dress. lol The dress is beautiful in this jade color. It’s light with a frilly collar and a long, sexy train.

I’d like to share an excerpt from King Lear; one of Goneril’s infamous lines where she declares and confesses her love to her dear father. It becomes evident later on in the play that it was all an act on her part and the only thing she loves and desires is power.

“Sir, I love you more than words can wield the matter;
Dearer than eye-sight, space, and liberty;
Beyond what can be valued, rich or rare;
No less than life, with grace, health, beauty, honour;

I have to admit my admiration for the Baiastice line. Sissy Pessoa’s designs are always interesting and so different. Her spring release this year has been amongst my favorites. With her beautiful long dresses and now with these more everyday looks that were just released a couple of weeks ago. I love the soft colors and texturing. They are so versatile too.

The hair I am wearing is from Amacci. I discovered this store during Pose Fair when Carina Larsen dropped her wonderful poses on me. Then I realized she also makes such pretty skins. And now with this stunning new hair release, Amacci is slowly becoming a one-stop shopping extravaganza.

I know what you’re thinking! You’re thinking that Berry has no idea that she is all dressed up as a baseball playing princess while standing in a soccer field (or football for you perhaps :P). Trust me, I know I am in a soccer field and I know all the differences between those two sports (I think) No really, I do! :/

Anyhow here’s the story behind these pictures. I’ve been wanting to shoot pictures in this gorgeous soccer stadium for about 2 weeks now ever since the owner, John Zelnik, contacted me to start an advertising campaign on my site. The sim immediately caught my attention because it is so unique. The name of the sim is Virtual Bosphorus & FC Inter SL and it is the first and only Turkish Linden Lab Community Gateway. They have orientation information in both the Turkish and English languages for the SL Turkish and other communities. They have been around for over 2 years and have created a fully functional stadium where matches are actually played. They also have a virtual soccer academy where they teach residents how to play soccer in SL. The sim is quite big and has great traffic so it’s also a great place to rent a satellite store since they have a mall surrounding the stadium. If you are looking for a great rental spot or more information about the soccer academy, club that can be rented for parties or anything at all, feel free to contact John Zelnik for further information. Him and his wife, Princess Dikes, are the owners and are very friendly and helpful.

So I was on the hunt for a cute soccer outfit to shoot on the sim when Eboni Khan dropped this latest SLDD exclusive baseball princess uniform. I tried to look for a baseball sim but I couldn’t find one. How the heck does SL not have a baseball sim??? Srsly people?? Or perhaps I missed it, I dunno. Anyhow, I just thought this outfit was totally adorable and it comes with the baseball bat and three cute poses from Glitterati. Talk about an awesome deal! Oh btw, I totally messed up the prims on the skirt because I’m so brilliant and didn’t notice until after I had finished photoshopping. There is supposed to be a very pretty white belt that should be visible above the prim skirt, but I had my prims too high when I snapped the pics.

This whole week I’ve received so much beautiful content from many different designers that I took pictures in and even started to blog. Then I ended up hating the pictures and had such an urge to hit delete I couldn’t stop myself. Since the contest, for some reason, I’ve started to doubt and question my abilities. Which is kind of strange, you’d think the opposite would occur and I would be more confident. However, that’s not the case. I was about to delete this picture as well and scrap this post, but was encouraged not to.

It’s rather frustrating since playing in photoshop can be so relaxing and fulfilling to me, but instead this week it’s been reverse. How do you get over doubt and uncertainty within yourself? How do you find a way to trust in yourself again?

As for the outfit; I adore this top. It’s beautifully sculpted and really accentuates your curves. Also it’s modify, therefore easily sizable.

I thought big red lips would suit this shot well and when I think of big red lips, AtomicBambi’s Imani skin is usually the first that pops into my mind. The lips on this skin are absolutely delicious.

The shades are from one of my favorite accessory stores, O!Bleak. Designer Dotty Latte makes some of the most amazingly sculpted jewelry, shoes and other accessories.

The body glitter didn’t show up very well in the picture. It just looks like white dots but inworld it’s very sparkly and cute, unlike bling.

I think I’m gonna try and find a way to get over this slump that I seem to be in by taking a strawberry bubble bath and then head to bed soon. I hope y’all have a great weekend! <3
