Catwa Dyana Basic Female Mesh Head
Earlier this week Catwa released the Dyana head. It is her latest release in her basic line of mesh heads that cost only L$900 for the base model. Any additional add-ons such as animations and blinking have different pricing. You can check the price chart on Catwa’s flickr for all the details.
Like her previous release Amy, Dyana has a bigger set of eyes and pouty lips but she is a bit less doll-like. I find both of them to be very youthful looking and Dyana seems to work better with more skins. But you should definitely DEMO her with your favorite skins before purchasing.
I really loved Dyana in the L’Etre Cheyenne skin. She looked a bit more mature in that skin and had a bit of a sophisticated look to her. I noticed Dyana seems to work well with skins that were made for Annie so I’m guessing their lips are similar but she definitely has a very different look from Annie.

The bikini and sand layer that I’m wearing in the images can both be found at Summerfest. The bikini is from Zaara and the sand layer is from Izzie’s. I feel like they go very well together for the perfect summer picture.
The jewelry is also from Zaara but currently at Uber. The whole Raksha jewelry set consists of 4 pieces:
- Anklets – includes Slink and Maitreya flat feet versions
- Arm chains – only fitted for Maitreya
- Belly chains – Maitreya fitted mesh and unrigged version.
- Thigh chains- only fitted for Maitreya
Zaara has sent DEMOs for both the bikini and the jewelry set to her inworld Zaara Updates group, in case you are having a hard time getting into the events and would like to try before you buy.

Cyn, I wore my regular one with this head. I felt it looked too squished with the longer head version.

Thank you so much for all you do to improve our SL experience. I am a Lelutka head uses but am always open to trying new and different things. Catwa has been very confusing for me since in their store they show only Terminator-like chrome heads. It is hard for me, and I am sure others to visualize how they might look with skins. Is there any place you know where we can see these heads skinned? I tried the demo Dyana but could not get my Maitreya body to match the L’Etre Skin Shop – Cheyenne Skin (I didn’t see any body appliers with the demo skin). How do you go about getting your Maitreya body to match Catwa heads? Thanks for your help and suggestions
Steffanie, to get your Maitreya body skin to match any skin on any mesh head, you need to buy the Maitreya applier to match it. Not all demo skins come with demo body appliers but there should be demos in the store for the Maitreya appliers, at least that’s been my experience.
Hi Just would like to add I own now 3 mesh heads from Catwa and from all 3 Alice is my fav..exactly the mesh head I thought I would like to own..
I have the head and body, but for some reason it looks nothing like how you are wearing it in your pics.I’m at a loss because I think it’s so cute.
Hey Giselle, not sure why that may be happening. You can try changing your head sliders to this:
Head Size – 58
Head Stretch – 38
Head Length – 45
That may help.
