Genesis Lab Charly Mesh Head

Genesis Lab has released another new mesh head named Charly. I admit, I’m not a big fan of Charly, but I wanted to feature another Genesis Lab head since I haven’t blogged them as often. They have very diverse and good quality heads, but every time I try one on, I don’t feel like me in them, aside from Giorgia. Although I must admit, after that post, I tried wearing Giorgia a couple of times and ended up taking it off and going with something else as I didn’t feel like me in it anymore.

Most of the time the Genesis Lab heads feel a bit alien-ish to me, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing since this is Second Life and we can be whatever we want to be. But I just feel like they don’t suit me or my personality. With this Charly head, it’s a beautiful head that’s very well done with many options, but I just don’t feel like it suits me.

Another thing that I feel Genesis Lab heads lack are expressions. I do enjoy using expressions often now that more mesh heads are being released with expressions or have that option available for purchase. But I know majority of people don’t really mind not having expressions so this head will work well for them.

The head itself is currently available at Shiny Shabby and it costs L$2500 for one skin tone. It is available in 4 skin tones and I’m wearing the darkest one. I’ve done a little video showing you some of the makeup options the head comes with.

Also I did want to mention that SL13B activities have been going on all week and I’ve only had the chance to go to a couple of them. Saturday all of the events will finish but the exhibits will be up for another week after that. So make sure to visit and check them out.
