Super Berry!
This is what I love most about Second Life, I can be a super hero with just a click of a button. Ok so maybe with the whip I may look more like a dominatrix than a super hero, but I like it! 😛
The super hero costume I’m wearing is from Addams currently available at the Epiphany Gacha event. It is available in 6 colors with 4 separate pieces: the armor, the mask, the boots and the gloves (which I’m not wearing).
The Epiphany Gacha event has a lot of very beautiful and interesting releases, perfect for dressing up during Halloween. You can check out the full collection on Seraphim and then take the SLurl and teleport over.
Someone had told me about this sim so I thought I would check it out and so happy I did, it’s really well done! Ironwood Hills is a post apocalyptic city loosely inspired by Silent Hill. When you land there you will be greeted by a very spooky looking greeter named Maou85 who will give you a mesh flashlight which you can wear and turn on as you walk around the sim. It’s actually quite haunting walking around the dark sim with just the light from the flashlight brightening your path. Luckily I was dressed up as a super hero so I wasn’t really scared (ok maybe I was a little bit).
You guys should definitely visit if you’re looking for an interesting place to explore this Halloween. They also have a flickr group in case you take pictures.
Speaking of spooky sims, Linden Lab is planning a creepy crawl on October 30th so if you have a Halloween themed sim, see how you can enter your venue to be part of the creepy crawl. I think it should be fun, I’m definitely going to try and join in on the fun that day. Follow Linden Lab on Twitter and Facebook for future announcements about the creepy crawl.

Great costume Berry. I was at Ironwood Hills last night, took the boat ride and loved the GOT music but sadly my internet was not up to speed and the lag eventually got me down. I will try again today.

Ive been to Ironwood Hills, Ive done some of my pictures there lol. I had a spider Empress that I’d blogged and found a back room that had witchcraft type look and I rezzed a box (Yes they allow rezzing as long s you clean up after yourself. So PLEASE if you rez something take it back before you depart from the location in which you rezzed in and or the sim in general)stood on it and made it invisible where it looked like she was caught within the magikal warp and floating the pics turned out pretty cool. The sim is awesome! It is scripty and tons of textures so if you do lag, you might want to remove unnecessary huds and turn graphics down a touch, Lower draw distant to about 512 to 128 and set your sims environment to midnight and enjoy! Very well done!!
