Tattoo Heaven
I recently went on a massive shopping spree at Letis Tattoo so you’ll be seeing me very inked for a while. I think out of all the ones I bought though, this one is my absolute favorite. I am wearing the tattoo layer for my face and then I used the Omega Applier it came with and applied the tattoo to my Maitreya Mesh body. If you are not familiar with Omega appliers, you can find more info and instructions on their blog.
I am also wearing a new mesh mouth that was released today from PXL. I have to admit, I am not really a fan of mesh mouths. I own a couple of the loud mouth mouths as well and I do admit that this PXL mouth was A LOT easier to adjust and fit, but I don’t think it suits me. I might wear it for pictures once in a while, but it’s not something I will wear all the time. However, if you are into mesh mouths, then you might want to look into this one since it was a lot easier to fit, Glam Affair already has appliers for it and it already has an Omega system kit.
I also wanted to share that I finally went on my Scuba Adventure Tour through Avatair on Monday night and I had such a blast. I live-plurked the whole event if you’re interested in seeing more pictures and reading my goofy commentary. I’m thinking I might try their Skydiving tour next, it looks like fun. I’ll let you know if I do!

Do the mesh mouths come with the lip rings and if so, are they removable?
Hey Caitlyn, yes, this PXL mouth comes with three lips rings that you can enable using the HUD. You can display all of them or just one or two of them or remove them all, lots of options in there. I have one of them displayed there in my pic.

Omg, can it be real to find easy fitting mesh mouth? O_o At least! Thanks to PXL for creating it and thanks to Berry to post about. I wanted mesh mouth for my pics, but had a really headache with them to fit and now yay, I can do it 😀 Tattoo is great too, I like it. Thanks again for your post, Berry 🙂
CONCERNING THE LETIS TATTOO…HOW DID YOU GET THE NECK AND BODY TATTOO TO COME TOGETHER? i HAVE A GAB BETWEEN THE FACE TATTOO AND THE BODY…

Starved, I am just wearing the tattoo layer of the tattoo along with the omega applier for the Maitreya body. My tattoo is not absolutely seamless either as you can see from the raw shot here: https://my.secondlife.com/strawberry.singh/snapshots/54e5700ff8a1ec3662000001?version=original
there is a very slight line and the shading of the tattoo on the mesh body is a lot sharper and clearer, however I don’t have any gap between the body and the head. Different Windlight settings may also help in making it look more seamless.
ty Berry for the come back…..i talked to Leti Hex and she said that the Omega applier stops at the neck. I did just add the tattoo layer for my face, but like you said it might be the windlight…i use Brees Apple blossom
Okay, gorgeous! But how did you get the mouth to look good with shadows? No matter what windlight I use with shadows, the mesh mouths NEVER look good. They either are super puffy, or off toned, or jagged. HALP!

Kay, if you look closely at my raw shot, you will see it’s not completely perfect either. Just resizing and editing the mouth to fit as best as possible is the really the only way to do it other than windlight, but that’s not something you can control on other people’s computers. So it may look perfect to you because of your lighting, but someone else might still see it with seams and such. However, I will say that out of all the mesh mouths I have tried, the PXL fits the best and has the least amount of seams and issues.
Starved, looking at your image it looks as if you have your neck fix on in the maitreya hud. You just need to toggle that and it should fix your tattoo. Here are two screenshots of me wearing the tattoo with the neck fix on and off in the maitreya hud:

it looks like that is the issue you are having there so hopefully once you toggle that button in the Maitreya hud, it should fix it.
