Dirty Dancing

As I said in a recent post, I have been trying to be a bit more social and approaching a few friends to join me on the blog. Carthalis Rossini is another one of the friends I drool over and wanted to collaborate with.

Carthalis and I have blogged a few times before. The first time we blogged together was when he asked me to be his Snow White back in 2011. Not gonna lie, I felt really special. Then of course I had to ask him to join me on my blog and add him to my Men on the Grid Series. Last year he asked me to be in a South Asian inspired post with him where he looked incredibly handsome. So now it was my turn to ask, which I did, and he suggested a Dirty Dancing theme, so of course I couldn’t say no. Especially since he sends me such wonderful gifts.

I wanted to experiment a bit more with the first shot. I thought it would be interesting to make it black and white and kind of zoom into my avatar a bit. The pose is so well done and I love the look on her face and how she seems to be completely lost in his arms. I wanted to put the focus more on her. I kind of like the way that turned out.

I will be travelling next week so won’t be around till November, hopefully I’ll have time to socialize again then. I’m really enjoying shooting with others.
