Glam Affair
Late last night I messaged Aida Ewing of Glam Affair requesting a couple of makeups for whenever she releases her next skins. I wanted gold and silver eyeshadow with heavy black eyeliner and this morning she dropped them on me. I am so happy, not only did she do it so fast but they were exactly what I was looking for, especially this gold one. She has put both skins up for only L$50 this Friday for Fifty Linden Friday, so make sure to drop by Glam Affair some time today and pick them up. Thank you Aida for doing them for me, I love them! <3 The three dots you see on my chin are not actually part of the skin, but something I added in Photoshop. It's a bit of an indian tradition/superstition where we draw fake moles and beauty marks on our faces to ward off the evil eye. After I sent Aida the makeup references she then dropped her body appliers on me that she just released for the Mesh Project body from The Shops. I really had no intention of picking up the body myself, but once she dropped the appliers on me, I felt compelled to go see and perhaps purchase. I went to the store and it honestly took me about an hour to figure out how to use their multiple huds to even demo or purchase the item. Then once I figured out how to purchase, it took me longer to figure out how to use it and apply the skins and clothing.
Now that I have been playing with it all day, I kind of have the gist of it and figured it out, but I have to say, it is a lot more complicated than any other product I’ve ever purchased inworld. However, with all that being said, the body is bangin! I love myself in it. The alpha hud is not too bad either. I was trying it out with some mesh dresses, it didn’t work perfectly, but I think if I fiddle with my shape a bit more, it may help.
A few people have asked me this so I thought I would share, this body is not compatible with slink products, such as the hands and feet. I tried but I couldn’t get them to fit. The hands and feet of the shops are not bad though. It’s just that I have so many nail polishes and shoes that fit with the slink products that I’ll miss wearing. But I do have to say, the quality of the mesh clothing and accessories available at The Mesh Project right now, is top notch.
So if you do have The Mesh Project body or are interested in getting it, Glam Affair has released appliers for it. Hope you have fun playing around with it! <3

All I can say is woooo! The list of skin shops that have appliers is available on the Shops website and I spent too much time teleporting from one shop to the other and realizing they still have to release them so I gave up lol. And I agree with you, the body from the Shops with their alpha hud is amazing, I love that we can chose tiny parts of the body to hide. Also, I wear the cute azz (that fits with the Slink feets) with skirts, it fits nicely with the body from the Shops.

Haha, I so had to laugh when I read it took you an hour to figure out the Hud. The same happened to me. Together with the mesh head it took me two hours. It is complecated, yes but once you’re done, you’re a happy puppy 🙂

I just had to add a big THANK YOU to aida for sending me a FLF skin that I missed. I was so upset that i missed getting the skin. I just sent her a notecard and pleaded with her, she was so gracious and kind that she sent it to me.
love the dots.. used to out 3 at the corner of my right eye. i think it was an art student superstition to ward off blandness. went well with blue eyebrows.
more and more as great as they look you are convincing me i do not have time to try or wear mesh body parts 🙁
like it can already take me a day to compose an outfit and i only get a couple of those days a month lol. looks great tho! back of knee creases are tasty
I want a mesh body that is compatible with SLink hands and feet AND Glam Affair has an applier for… is that really too much to ask? We’ll see if I can hold out that long…
For the most part, I really love this mesh body. The butt is hot, the books are divine but what I just can’t get past are the cankles. 🙁

Mousy, Maitreya is soon going to be releasing a mesh body that will have all of that and more! So just be patient if you can. 🙂
Elle, the cankles can be fixed by increasing your foot size in appearance mode.

I did that actually and they still don’t seem to have that nice extension between the foot and the calf that the Slink feet have. It’s probably me though because I am super anal about things like that. I so wish they had slink feet as an option for their body because it really is fantastic.
Ooh Maitreya! Now they have some nice feet! Will be looking forward to that release.
