Second Life Friends List Meme

For this week’s Monday meme I thought it may be fun to grab a friend from your inworld friends list and then both of you can answer the following series of questions about your lists. It’s optional though, you can just answer the questions on your own if that’s easier.

Meme instructions: Grab a friend from your second life friends list (optional) pose with them and/or answer the following questions. Don’t forget to leave a link to your post in the comments and share your picture in the Blog Memes Flickr Group.

So last night I logged on, got all dressed and was determined to start working on answering the questions to this meme when I thought it may be a fun idea to incorporate one of the people on my list that were online at the time and get them to participate as well. So I saw Garrett Ceriano on and decided to poke him. I asked him where he was, what he was doing, what he was wearing, what his social security number was, etc…. you know, the usual questions. He explained that he was at a party, just dancing and was wearing, and let me quote: “i’m wearing one of those penis-y speedos from the adult vitamen collection right now” Then I was like, “OK you know I would love to see you in that but can you put on a pair of jeans and come pose with me?”

So he agreed and here we are. He showed up wearing the plaid shirt and it was as if we were soul-mates, or you know, just two people wearing plaid shirts.

Berry’s answers:

1. What is the number of contacts on your Second Life Friends List? (visible in firestorm viewer or your web profile) I actually had to ask my plurk friends to help me figure this one out as I couldn’t find it in Firestorm Viewer. So if have difficulty finding the number, read this plurk. When I did that plurk last night, my number was 809, now it’s at 815.
2. Are you picky about who you add to your list or do you usually add most people? Oh man, I have this thing where I have a hard time saying no if someone sends me a friend request so I just pretty much add everyone and that’s why my number is so insane.
3. Who is your oldest contact? (check your calling cards) Gertrude Dixon
4. Who is your newest contact? (check your calling cards) Alice Demonia
5. Do you know every single person on your list? lol no
6. How many do you speak to on a daily (weekly) basis? Daily I would say about 3 to 5 and weekly maybe about 10 to 15.
7. How many do you see/get together with in-world on a daily (weekly) basis? I only really plan to get together with 2 people, if that. I see people every day inworld though that are my photo clients or when I’m wandering around SL.
8. Who on your list do you have the closest relationship with? Zaara Kohime & Winter Jefferson
9. Who do you wish you knew better? Truth Hawks, he just seems like he would be a lot of fun to hang around with. I also want to ask him a bunch of questions about vegan eating and get recipes and such.
10. Who on your list is the funniest/most entertaining? Winter Jefferson (he’s also the brattiest on my list)
11. How did you meet most of the people on your list? (work, parties, etc…) I haven’t actually “met” MOST of the people on my list, lol. So sad I know but most of the people on my list are people that have just sent me random friend requests and so I accepted. But most of the people that I actually speak to on my list I met inworld at parties, events or through other friends.
12. Do you ever clean out your list? No. I never do like spring cleaning of lists or anything, HOWEVER I have in the past (and now I’m starting to do it more this month) removed people that I feel do not have a positive aura and bring negative energy into my life. Usually I would just ignore them but I have started to remove now.
13. Do you have a crush on someone in your list? Yes, Garrett. I want his sexy penis-y speedos. But in all honesty, I don’t currently have a crush on anyone in Second Life…well, except for the guy I’m partnered to.
14. Is there anyone on your list that you would trust with your password? Yes, if need be, there are a couple.

Garrett’s answers:

1. What is the number of contacts on your Second Life Friends List? 392!! It was like 500 last month. lol. The highest it’s ever been has probably been in the 600’s.
2. Are you picky about who you add to your list or do you usually add most people? I usually accept requests from pleasant people i’ve spoken to more than a few times. I’m friendly until given a reason not to be. lol
3. Who is your oldest contact? One of my besties in RL/SL, Sagevsal Mantha.
4. Who is your newest contact? Someone I will probably delete next week. A guy never tells.
5. Do you know every single person on your list? Biblically? No. I remember why I added most everyone though…And I’m sober nearly each time so I can’t forget a face.
6. How many do you speak to on a daily (weekly) basis? Maybe 20 give or take. I know, horrible.
7. How many do you see/get together with in-world on a daily (weekly) basis? 50 maybe, I don’t know. These questions are hard, Berry. I don’t have a stenographer following me around while I computer with my frans.
8. Who on your list do you have the closest relationship with? MY ALTS! I know them the best. LOL. Seriously though, It would be anyone that has been in my picks and knows my real name. Rubystarlight Writer and Mz Marville are the closest active BFF’s to me. I also have other close friends who know a lot about me, maybe not as much but I still consider them close. <3
9. Who do you wish you knew better? Basically anyone on my list that I haven’t spoken to since we added each other…HI! Also, anyone that wants to know me better, I’m not going to bite. I want to know my future husband better too. (who/where is he?)
10. Who on your list is the funniest/most entertaining? I can’t answer this question really because I’m delusional and laugh at everything. ALL MY FRIENDS HAVE THEIR MOMENTS, OK?
11. How did you meet most of the people on your list? (work, parties, etc…) I met a majority of the people on my list from work that I’ve done in the past related to management of various things, work in the fashion world, and events organizing. I’ve also met a lot of my friends from the gay community within SL as well. Some are just completely random and cute like wild Pokemon. I once was a fan-boy with AMBISHUNS. I liked to sack new friends all the time but now I just get to be an old intimidating hermit. I still like meeting new people though!
12. Do you ever clean out your list? No…I clean. 2 times…in one year, Mister Berry. We need more lemon pledge.
13. Do you have a crush on someone in your list? Yes, I do. My crushes know who they are. Mostly, LOL
14. Is there anyone on your list that you would trust with your password? I would trust a few, yup. It’s never been necessary but I’d trust my best friends with it.

Ok so Garrett’s answers were so much more funnier and entertaining than mine, lol. He is actually one of the people on my list whom I adore and crack up laughing whenever I have gotten together with him.
