Merry Christmas!

I hope all of you are having a safe and happy Christmas eve so far. I wanted to do this quick post before all my family festivities over the next few days take over.

I was teleporting around with my Friend Chad yesterday and we happen to end up at Edelweiss. They recently had a major holiday release, all in mesh. You can see most of it in their marketplace store as well.

Chad picked up the mesh Santa Suit they have for only L$100 and busted out a big shape, skin and glasses that made him look so much like Santa. Then we went over to Discord Designs to pick up a Santa beard for him. Doesn’t he make an awesome Santa?

I picked up a cute santa dress and I also got the free accessory pack along with the fatpack of armwarmers and mittens and the fatpack of the 4 different style of boots.

Like I said, it’s a fantastic release and if you still don’t have something to wear for Christmas, a must visit! So take the SLurl and head down there now.

While you’re doing that, you can head to Diesel Works next for their recent release of a series of holiday pose props. The Merry Christmas sign and pose you see in the first picture with Chad and I is actually FREE right now at the Diesel Works Mainstore.

I also ended up at a skin store I had never been to before. Ugly Duck is the name of the store and a few of their skins can be found on marketplace as well. What I liked about this store was, all of the skins were handdrawn by the creator, Fade Lei. Fade Lei used to be also known as Fade Dana and she created some of the most creative hats in Second Life. I blogged a couple of her hats back in 2010: “In Love with the Hat Mechanic” and I loved her work so much back then, I’m happy to see her back and creating. She also had some of her old hats in her skin store there as well. So if you are looking for the boxing gloves that you see in that post, you’ll find them at Ugly Duck.

Mandala recently had a major mesh ears release and it is amazing! Check out all the details on their blog with links to marketplace and the mainstore.

I was really honored when Botgirl Questi asked me to do an image for the A is for Avatar project that Botgirl, Whiskey Monday and Mr. Crap Mariner had created. It was for a special C is for Christmas holiday edition. She sent me the words and I was supposed to create an image for it. I’m really happy I was able to participate in such a fun and unique project. Thanks for asking me Botgirl! <3
