Wizarding Faire

Wizarding Faire 2013 starts tonight at midnight and is brought to you by Mischief Managed. The theme of this faire is magic and it will run for two weeks. It will be held in the Diagon Alley on the Mischief Managed roleplay sim. The sim is usually closed and only available to the Harry Potter roleplayers, however for the duration of the faire they are opening it up to the public. Since it is a roleplay sim though, there are some rules they are requesting that you guys follow if you visit please.

1. The Diagon alley where the faire is OOC (Out Of Character) so you don’t need to worry about wearing a visitor tag there, however the castle, classrooms and other parts of the build are IC (In Character), therefore you will need to pick up a visitor tag which you will find at the entrance, as soon as you land, and wear that while you are exploring the rest of the sim.
2. They have build enabled so you are able to rez any objects and/or posestands that you may need if you’d like to take a picture. However, they request that you please clean up all of your objects before leaving.

I’ve blogged the Mischief Managed sim before. It’s one of my favorite mesh builds and definitely a must see. So if you have never seen it before, this is a great opportunity for you to do so.

The Wizarding Faire has 50 designers participating and it truly has a magical feel, even as you explore the valley. Upon arrival you will see a box for a free visitor tag, I suggest you pick one up in case you decide to explore the rest of the sim.

I’m wearing a new-to-me skin that I grabbed at the Faire. It’s a teen skin by the name of Amber from Birdy Skins. I really like the clean, youthful look of it and the freckles add an adorable touch. I also have the cute little shoulder pet from Miamai. You’ll find lots of really fun and adorable items. I think you guys should definitely check it out; especially the rest of the sim while you have the opportunity.
