After months of teasing us with his latest skin, Jade, Hart Larsson is finally going to be releasing her next week. Jade will be available in 8 skin tones and of course PXL/SLink mesh hands and feet appliers have already been released for these tones along with appliers for both Lolas and Lush mesh breasts. The skin also comes with a truckload of options. There are 15 lip colors, 2 levels of cheekbones shading, and freckles, which are embedded into skin. Then there are also 15 eye make-ups, 5 brow colors, a no brow option, 3 lips glosses, mole options and 3 cleavage options, which are all on tattoo layers. So it’s really easy to mix and match lip and eye colors. I also love the freckles, they are adorable and will do a pic with them in the near future.
I wanted to do a sexy mermaid style picture because this new hair from Ladies who Lunch seemed like it should be on the head of a gorgeous water nymph. It has a wild, carefree look and I love all the colors it comes in. It’s available at Hair Fair right now so make sure to stop by LWL when you visit.
Finally, to complete the look, I thought the Sapphire Maang Tikka by Sax Shepherd would be the perfect and only accessory needed. Out of curiosity…what are you using the shade the lips with?
Are you using the color burn and dodge…or are you using shadow shading…I can’t figure out how to duplicate this technique. I’ve done a few pictures based off of your tutorials, but am not near at the excellence that you are at. 🙂
I love the way that you edit your pictures – it always inspires me to want to do more just for the pure enjoyment of it.
I realized this past month that my radion graphic settings weren’t set at the full capacity on my laptop and couldn’t figure out why my picutres were so pixilated..they are looking a lot better once this was adjusted.

Rain, I actually don't do a lot to the lips usually, just a bit of dodge and burn but most of all I liquify. I love to shape them a bit more, round them out and add a bit more oomph to them. But other than that, I don't do much else.
I thought that hair from LWL was very mermaid-esque too, really gorgeous almost look’s like she could be a ‘right out of the water’ kind of hair do 😀
I’m kinda curious as to why all the skins for the last couple of years seem to have plumped up pouty lips. Where are non-injected smiles?
Hi Rose, that may be because of the shape of my own lips, they are quite big and pouty so most skins look like that on me. But perhaps if you try a demo on your own shape, it might look different?
Thank you for the nice response. This is just something I’ve noticed over the last 18 months or so. I’d thought to update my look so used Marketplace to “window” shop before going to inworld shops. That’s where the look is most apparent.
I thought it might be like that unfortunate trend a few years ago for wet-look shiny skins. That did get rather out of hand for a bit, people walking about as if dipped in melted butter.
But alas, it seems we pasty-faced, thin lipped 85% mouth corner types must either plump lips, endure the smudged lipstick effect, or just wait it out.
(Unrelated aside, I’ve begun trying to buy through Marketplace rather than inworld vendors so that I can leave feedback. There really is no other more effective way contact some content creators or to help other shoppers make informed choices.)
