Did you know…

Did you know...

Did you know that my real life name means white flower in Arabic? Yeah it does, not going to tell you what my real life name is 😛 but I do love the meaning of it. It seems so pure and wholesome, like me! 😀 *coughs* But anyways, that’s why I love wearing flowers in my hair, especially white ones.

Did you know that Mr. Bouncer Criss created his very own first original mesh item? The butterfly ring I’m wearing on my hand is his first item, but he plans on releasing a lot more. It’s totally adorable! You can check out Dani Riaxik’s blog post to see all the colors available.

Did you know that the mesh dress I’m wearing is from Kastle Rock and they also have a beautiful line of roleplay clothing and items?

Did you know the reason I am wearing two different skins? The Shops sell their skins with the body and face separately by putting the face on a tattoo layer. Well when I tried on the body, it was giving me weird white eyelashes and I couldn’t figure out why (I still don’t know) so I decided to try the face tattoo with my League Aria skin in golden and they fit perfectly. The advantage to that is, League also has SLink mesh hands and feet appliers so for now, I will continue to wear two different skins together…but they work, I think. Don’t you think?

Did you know that the WatchTower sim I’m shooting at today has the most adorable little cafe on it that has a wide assortment of little cakes and pies and other pastries. They look so real and delicious and one of them even has strawberries on top!

Did you know that one time I thought I had an allergic reaction to strawberries because I broke out in hives after eating them…but then it turned out to be something else. Wouldn’t that be weird if I was allergic to myself?

Did you know that I’m double jointed? Yeah, totally double-jointed…and lemme tell you, it really comes in handy sometimes!

Well, now you know.

  • My SL (Genna) and RL (?) names are not the same but mean the same thing.

I love cafes! I’m going to go check it out.

  • Oh I was wondering what you meant with using two skins in your last post and now you’ve shared how. They absolutely work!

By the way.. did you know with a simple Google search everyone can narrow down your name? Just saying. 🙂

  • Hey Alexa, well thank you, I thought they worked pretty well together too and I love that I have proper appliers for my hands and feet this way. 😀

Also, ssshhhhhhhhhhhhh, don’t tell anyone. 😛

  • Those two skins together rock.. and your blog today made me smile.. and the thought of you being allergic to yourself kinda made me giggle.. And!! my real life name means a field of flowers and one of my daughters names means in full bloom 🙂

  • Thanks for the shout out Berry! Love that skin and your face!! <33 -Dani

  • “Wouldn’t that be weird if I was allergic to myself?”

Don’t know if there is a Jira but i had that problem since a few months ago, even when using the latest SSA Tpv.
I used to wear a skin, then 3 tattoo lawyers added (oiled, tan lines, tattoo) and when i added a hair base lawyer, face was just plain white!
Found that using more then 3 (even if in theory you could use up to 5) was always screwing some.
So i just created a new tattoo lawyer where i merged the tan lines and my tattoos (Done in gimp, then uploaded).
So i made another lawyer with the tan lines and tattoos and the hair base!
Guess what, same problem white face always!
So in the end i found that i could use a skin and wear a oiled body lawyer, add my tan lines/tattoo merged one, without any issues but had to quit using hair or any face lawyer!

  • Double jointed crew ftw!! \o/ I’ve found it useful in uhm.. archery? lol

We love knowing what you know and how you show it~

  • So double jointedness does not exist. Extreme flexibility however does. Though being super flexible can lead to serious issues like dislocations. I did enjoy the post but as someone who is in a wheelchair from her flexibility I always end up having to open my yap. There are a range of things it could be, and the side effects vary too. Ehlers Danlos Syndrome is the one I go to first but there is always Marfan or one of the others.

http://www.ednf.org if you don’t mind the URL. If so just edit the comment? That site has more info than I do. I hope its not so serious as where my brain goes. (Also hi first time commenter going to runa nd hide now)

  • Great post about the 2 skins wearing at the same time. I have tried the demo’s at the body shop and when you wear only the body demo without the face it gives you this white face, since the skin comes with tattoo layers for the face. So you cannot wear the body without the face, though you can wear the face with any skin that matches like you did. Anyway, it shouldn’t be a problem when you wear both body and face. (White eyelashes only appear when wearing the demo of the body).

  • Thanks guys for all the info!

Keely I had no idea it was just on the demo. However, it kind of makes me hesitant to buy the full skin. Perhaps I’ll drop a notecard on the designer. Thanks everyone! <3
