Tutorial – Processing a Headshot
(before and after) Style credits to this picture can be found in this post: Makeup Forever!
A lot of people have been asking me to do more Photoshop video tutorials showing how I process my images, especially my headshots. It really varies most of the time though, depending on each picture and how much I want to process it. Today’s picture a few people asked me to share how I processed some parts of it and also how I added the bokkeh background.
This is the video showing how I processed this image: http://youtu.be/0R1ULV-CO3I

I can’t wait to try out your tips, Berry! I’m still struggling with PS lol Thank you so much for sharing the links to my tutorials. I’ve learned so much using Picmonkey and your linking to my blog helps me reach so many more people who might find value from my experiments ♥
Thank you so very much for this Berry <3 I love seeing other people show of how they do their pictures.
Another great one from you Berry! Love these
You’re welcome guys! I hope it comes in handy. <3
Berry, you’re amazeballs. I did the tutorial this morning, I almost cried at the end result, you have no idea how much you’ve helped me in Photoshop, honestly, all I know is because of you. <3 http://www.flickr.com/photos/maddieg6/9065654293/

I use PicMonkey too! Not quite as much since I’ve had CS5, but I still use it for a few filters. I love the Orton. I used to feel like it was cheating somehow; like I should just be using PS. Lol Totally reassured now! Great tutorial! I will definitely be making good use of this.
Any idea where you found the bokeh brushes? I love the way yours looks but I can’t seem to find any that match. Thanks!
I believe these are the ones I have and used:
