FemDroid by Chip Midnight

FemDroid

I’ve been feeling a bit more adventurous lately so trying out complete mesh avatars more often, something I rarely did before. I had to blog this one because I just felt that it was so well done. The talented Mr. Chip Midnight has created a FemDroid rigged mesh avatar that comes in three different colors. I decided to go with the Classic White because I loved the way it shined. He also has a weathered droid and a constructor droid as well.

It comes with a complete body alpha and a shape (which I didn’t use). Then there are two attachments, one for torso and the other for legs and voila, you’re all set. I think it’s a great avatar if you are into roleplaying or even if you just want to try something new. The demos are available on marketplace for free as well as in the mainstore.

I decided to use male poses for this post because I thought they worked well with the avatar. However, now I’m thinking about picking up a cool new AO for this av. I need to search the marketplace to see if there’s any droid AOs. You guys have any suggestions?

  3. I love this Berry! It’s so sci-fi geek :) I have always loved the Abyss sim, it just really takes you away to a different world. You may want to try out the Tuty’s electric barberella AO for that robotic feel . https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/TuTys-ELECTRIC-BARBARELLA-Robotic-AO-Priority-3-and-4/3053675

I would direct you to this video to see the Avatar in Action…Slappy Dooby and Ellie Criss have made use of these in thier sets at Ellie’s Burlesque and it was absolutely INCREDIBLE!

  7. Thanks everyone!

Finesse and Chance, thank you for the AO recommendations, I’ll definitely check them out!

Charisma, although that is a very nice video, the droids that are in the video are not the same as the one I blogged. The one I blogged is by Chip Midnight and it is a rigged mesh avatar. The droids in that video are not mesh and are by a different designer.
    Thank you for sharing though.

Thanks for the wonderful post, Strawberry. Beautiful images! Just wanted to let everyone know that male versions will be released in the next day or two.

Charisma, cool video! That appears to be someone else’s avatar though. It’s a different design. A bit more of an anime feel to it. I didn’t know that one existed. It’s very nice!

  11. You’re very welcome Mr. Midnight, I’m so happy you liked the pictures. Really looking forward to seeing the male versions of this too!
