Has it been a year already?
Today I was asked why I photoshop my blog pictures. There are many reasons why a lot of us blog and if you read my review policy, I state that “I am not a stylist, critic or review blogger. My passion is taking pictures in Second Life and working on my skills in Photoshop.” At times I do not speak about the items I am wearing at all but instead just share a quote or ramble on about nonsense (kinda like I’m doing now :P). This is one of the reasons why I do not request review copies, because my blog is not about the content I am wearing (or in this case, not wearing) it is about me, my art, my thoughts and what I want to share.
That being said, it’s been almost a year since I bought my domain (February 15th, 2010) and I have gotten a great response to this blog and to my photography. All this has been completely unexpected to me, but has helped me in more ways than you can imagine. Working on this blog has brought me great pleasure and I look forward to continue improving my skills and learning more about myself.
To celebrate my one year, I am going to do a small sale on my two month advertising rate. Normally it is L$6500, but from now until February 15th, it will be L$3000.
