One Love
On January 12, 2010 a 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti. Whenever there is a crisis of some sort, the Second Life community manages to put their differences aside and band together for the greater cause.
I’m not even sure how many items are for sale and how many designers have contributed towards this effort, but that Haiti Relief Skybox in Scribble is full of amazing items from talented and generous designers. Here are just a few items I picked up. A big thank you to Kingston Augustus for coming along on a shopping spree and posing with me for this post.
I admit I picked up quite a lot of items over there that I could not even blog them all. The skins there are actually quite fabulous. Kingston is wearing the beautiful Cupcakes skin while I am wearing Rockberry in the first pic and Lelutka in the second – which I would have loved to see offered in more than a pale/light tone.
I hope y’all take a moment to visit soon and contribute towards the effort since it will only be up there till Sunday.

If you want to take part and help somehow but don’t have enough funds to do so, my friend Sean Black had a great idea that he shared on plurk with us today: Donate blood at your nearest Red Cross. You could save a life!
