Yes I’m contest happy!

If you’ve been watching my flickr account, you’re probably saying to yourself, just how many contests is this girl taking part in? Ever since I got my new desktop, I’m just looking for excuses to use Photoshop! All of a sudden I looked around and realized just how many photo contests were going on. Now you have to realize that my knowledge in Photoshop is severely lacking, everything I’ve been doing has been just by clicking around all over the place and OMG I LOVE FILTERS!!!

So here’s what I’ve been doing for the past week. Most of these contests are ending in a day or two, so if you want to enter, do it NOW!

The first one is the Minnu skins contest on flickr at this location: http://www.flickr.com/groups/mmsposterchallenge/
Basically just take your pics in your minnu skin, put it up on flickr and submit to that group. Every month there’s going to be a new winner that will win all sorts of yummy prizes from Minnu. All on the minnu group so take a look!

There is also an ongoing ETD Store Posters contest on flickr:

Basically just take pictures in your ETD hair and send them to that group. And if your pic is chosen it will be displayed in the store and you will also win some free stuff from ETD!

Take a picture of an outfit with your favorite shoes on and then another pic of just your shoes and you could win a L$2000 shopping spree at a shoe store of your choice! Wooooohoooooo

It’s a photo contest where you’re supposed to take two pictures of sl avatars and put them on real life backgrounds. The prize is L$5000 and this one was SO much fun to do and I learned so much about photoshop when I was working on these.

So that’s what I’ve been up to. It has been really fun learning Photoshop. And if anyone knows of any good online video tutorials, please send them my way!
